Maxime is a French-American photographer living in Paris.
While born in the South of France, he was raised mostly in the United States. There, he attended the Maryland Institute College of Art in Baltimore, Maryland, where he studied interdisciplinary sculpture and art history.
During his time in university, he began living communily between Baltimore and New York City where he worked on personal photographic projects, as well as at David Zwirner Gallery’s photography department, and as a photographer’s assistant in the fashion industry.
He moved to Paris in 2016 and began working with photographers Hedi Slimane and Sean Thomas. In late 2017, he stopped assisting to persue his own vision full time.
He completed his first monograph, “Farewell”, available in print in late 2017.
